The Star Rewards system was implemented in Adopt Me not that long ago. From it, you could get the Golden Egg, which has a chance to hatch the Golden Unicorn.

What is a Unicorn worth Adopt Me

It is difficult to get the Golden Egg from the Star Rewards system. You will need to have 660 login stars, which means that you have to login every day for 180 days, without losing your streak. Even though that is the case, it seems like not many are interested in the Golden Unicorn.

Its appearance is not matching the ordeal that you have to go through to get it. In other words, this pet doesn’t look that special.

How Much is a Golden Unicorn Worth – Adopt Me

Has its appearance made a big difference on its value? The short answer is yes, it has. In fact, the other two pets, the Golden Griffin and Golden Dragon which are both available through the Golden Egg, are in the same boat.

You get the sense that not much work has gone into designing these pets. What was a symbol of dedication, skill, and hard-work, was quickly discarded.

This means that the Golden Unicorn doesn’t exercise that much value. At most, the Golden Unicorn is worth once Artic Reindeer. You can also get an Albino Monkey, a Queen Bee, or a Turtle.

Its demand is not what I was expecting, and I don’t mean in a good way. For some reason, there is a market for this pet, as some players are looking to get one.

As for ultra-rare pets, you can say that this pet is worth somewhere in the neighborhood of 3-4 mid-tier ultra-rare pets. There is also a diamond version of the three golden pets I mentioned, and even though there is double the work to get them, they’re still low in value.

The diamond pets can be compared or traded to pets like the Crow and the Evil Unicorn. You might say that is good enough, but considering how many times you have to login to get them, the work to reward ratio is pretty small.

600 (Retired Egg)

The Unicorn is a legendary pet in Adopt Me! that players can obtain by hatching a Retired Egg or through trading. It was added in the Pet Update as one of the first legendary pets along with the Dragon.

Appearance

The Unicorn's mane is sequentially pink, green, and yellow. It also has a white body with a pink horn, white legs, and a pink tail behind it. Its body is very similar to the Horse, Evil Unicorn, Golden Unicorn, and Diamond Unicorn pet, as the same model was used.

Tricks

Here are the tricks the Unicorn learns in order:

  • Newborn - Sit
  • Junior - Lay Down
  • Pre-Teen - Bounce
  • Teen - Roll Over
  • Post-Teen - Backflip
  • Full Grown - Dance

Neon Appearance

The Neon version of the Unicorn glows pink on its hooves, horn, tail. Its mane glows pink, green, and yellow.

Mega Neon Appearance

The Mega Neon Unicorn glows in the same areas as its Neon form, but it immediately shifts from pink to purple, then yellow to teal.

Variants

The Unicorn, Griffin, Rat, Monkey, Penguin, Ladybug, Bee, Reindeer, Bat, T-Rex, Ox, and the Dragon are the only types of pets that have different types of themselves. The Unicorn has a few different variants of itself:

The whole point of Adopt Me is to know how much each of your pets are worth. That way you can always make clever trades and decisions. You always want to be the one that is under, and not over when you’re trading. And by doing that, you can build up more and more valuable pets. So, how much is a unicorn worth in adopt me?

Well, we think the unicorn is actually very high in demand because lots of people think they are cute and see them as dream pets. Unicorns are legendary, and they are hatchable from royal eggs, pet eggs and cracked eggs, but they are hard to hatch.

Even so, the unicorn has NOT made our list of top 10 pets. But you can find out where it does rank on our List of Adopt Me pets: the rarest, most valuable pets on Adopt Me!

What is a unicorn worth in Adopt Me on the dog/cat scale?

If you don’t know about the dog/cat scale – you should read our article that explains how to value pets on Adopt Me. The dog/cat scale allows you to easily compare the value of your pets, toys, and vehicles and work out if a trade is fair (roughly). We aim to score all pets using the dog/cat scale. The scale basically expresses how many dogs (or cats) would you need to trade for a pet. So a very common pet like a Buffalo would only score 1 on the dog/cat scale. That means you could trade a Buffalo for just one dog or one cat. Whereas a shadow dragon would score 1000, which means it would take 1000 dogs (or cats) to trade up to a Shadow Dragon.

So what is the unicorn worth in Adopt Me on the dog/cat scale? We think a unicorn is worth 20 dog/cats, which is about as much as a kitsune or robo dog.

What do you think?

At the end of the day, value is also subjective. That means it is in the eye of the beholder. You might come across someone in the game that is desperate for one of your pets so they are willing to overpay. Maybe it’s their dream pet. Or they are looking to make a neon, or mega neon, and are collecting that specific pet. Or you might not agree with our assessment.
