I used to be able to create drafts and come back to them later, but now drafts just disappear as soon as they're made. I create the post from the 'Plus' icon at the top right of the main profile page, made edits, press back to exit, and click 'Save as Draft' when prompted. But when going back to post it later (seconds later or hours), there is nothing there. No drafts at all, just my gallery pictures. I get the popup prompting me to save as a draft, and I click it, and the draft disappears.
