My iphone wont connect to wifi but other devices will reddit

I'm sure I'm missing something here but my iPhone 5 won't connect to my home wifi. Normally, I'll come home and the wifi connects automatically, but since yesterday my phone shows that it hasn't. I've a,ready unplugged my router for 30 secs then plugged it back in, as well as rebooted my iPhone, and of course turned my wifi off and then back on.

What's really weird is that under my wifi settings, it shows it connects to my home wifi but on the home screen, it still says I'm connected to LTE or 4g. What do?

Update: thanks for all the help! going to take it to Apple and see what they can do. I. Sure it's my phone.

UPDATE: for some reason I woke up this morning and my phone now directly connects to wifi. It's the ghost of Steve jobs playing shenanigans

Hi, does anyone have any tips on some diagnostics to find out why my iPhone 13 suddenly won’t get an internet connection to my eero6 network? It seems like it is connected, but nothing is getting through. It happened suddenly about 30 minutes ago and nothing I have tried has got it up and running again.

I’ve tried hard resetting the phone, resetting the eero network as well as disconnecting and reconnecting the Wi-Fi. I’ve also tried it with and without private mode. It looks like it’s connecting for a very brief time and then being thrown off.

I haven’t changed any settings on the network or the phone, the network has been pretty stable for the last few months, and all of my other connected devices seem okay.

Any tips would be gratefully received!

So every since I’ve updated to IOS14.5 my phone has been dropping my wifi and I’ve already done everything that Apple has to say of done multiple network resets and it will work for a few hours then I’ll just have to repeat it and I thought iOS 14.5.1 would fix it nope it’s still the same if anyone has the same problem or has an answer please tell me how to fix this as I have already done everything that Apple has told me thank you

My iPhone Xr won't connect to network. I have tried everything. I restarted my phone, put it on flight mode and then off, turned the Wi-Fi off and then on, reset my network settings, turned the router on and off, etc. Here is the catch: all my devices are connected to this Wi-Fi and it's working fine. The problem is with my phone! When I try to connect it gives me this message: "This network is operating on Wi-Fi channels in use by several other nearby networks. Restarting your wireless router may allow it to automatically choose the best channel to use, and may resolve this problem." I HAVE restarted my router, and NOTHING! It's getting frustratinggggg.

My mobile data is working just fine, and I can connect to other networks as well. My IOS is 15.5.

I have an iPhone 12, and phone is up to date with software (15.2.1). My iPhone will connect to the WiFi but when using any app there will be no internet. I know that my router works because every other device is still working, and I even ran a speed test for the router and it is working perfectly.

I’ve tried a lot of different fixes, I’ve restarted my phone multiple times, I updated my phone to the new software (15.2.1), I’ve reset my network settings on my phone, I’ve forgotten the WiFi and rejoined it, I deleted an old VPN app.

I’m not sure what other troubleshooting that I can do? Is anyone else having this problem?

My IPhone and IPad intermittently connect to my wifi. It's on and off but over the last three days I'd say they connect about 20% of the time. My wife's IPhone also has trouble but she can connect with more reliability, like 80% of the time. My Amazon Kindle has no problems connecting.

I've tried turning the modem and router off. Tried powering the devices down, forgetting the network and reconnecting but nothing has worked. Weird right? Anyone have a solution? Thanks all.

I have an iPhone 8 Plus. I have been connected to my home WiFi network for months with no issues. This morning I woke up not connected and thought it must be an internet issue. However, I am sitting here streaming on Hulu on my laptop and working on my work computer no problem. My husband’s phone is connected fine as well.

Steps I’ve taken to troubleshoot:

Rebooted phone

Disconnected and reconnected to network, both 2G and 5G

Rebooted router

Reset network settings on phone and tried logging back into network

Nothing has worked! I’m stuck on LTE and it’s incredibly slow. Not sure why the internet is working fine but all of a sudden my phone won’t connect.
