How to build an arrow cannon in minecraft

   Build a 3 by 3 block wall with an opening in the middle.

   Place a ladder in the opening of the wall.

   • The ladder will prevent the lava from spilling out and will also make an opening for the arrows to shoot out.

   Place down stone in a 5 by 3 arrangement on the ground behind the wall.

   Put a dispenser one block behind the ladder.

   • Make sure the dispenser to pointing to the opening of the wall or it will not work properly.

   Place down stone along the sides of the dispenser and in the space between the dispenser and the ladder.

   Place down lava in the space.

   • The lava will ignite the arrows.

   Place down the four pieces of redstone in this design.

   Put the redstone comparator here.

   Make the redstone comparator in subtraction mode by clicking on it.

    Place a 2 by 3 block wall here.

  Can I do this to light a mine cart on fire?

  

  No, you cannot, or there would be a lot of flaming mine carts, causing destruction and chaos everywhere.

  Does this work on the wither?

  

  No. The wither is immune to fire but the arrows will deal damage to it.

  Will a rail work in place of a ladder and could I use special arrows?

  

  A rail will break because of the lava but you can use tipped and spectral arrows.

On the left side of the TNT cannon, dig at least 10 blocks to the left of the TNT cannon, then do the same to the right side, then fill it with water,then dig straight at least 10 blocks in front and back of the TNT cannon, then fill it with water, then connect each end of the 10 blocks that you dug to form a square, then fill all the gaps with water, then destroy all block inside the square and then fill it with water again.
