Alexa? It’s a pretty sweet study that’s in line with some of the previous crowdsourced work that Mozilla’s done in the past. Most recently, it partnered with researchers at Princeton University to track how different users tap into political news stories or stories about the ongoing pandemic. Before that, the company created a separate extension, the “RegretsReporter,” that pulled data from people’s YouTube recommendations to research the sorts of awful rabbit holes that platform was trying to push its users down. |
