Can you share a link to a Facebook page?

Facebook Pages are a good way for you to showcase a business, brand, or charity cause.

And one of the best ways to ensure this content gets the exposure it deserves is to share the Page with your friends. Here's an easy step-by-step guide on how to share a Page on Facebook...

Sharing a Page with your friends on Facebook is a great way to increase engagement on the Page and bring attention to the content it is promoting.

First, you need to find the Page you want to share:

  1. Go to your Facebook News Feed.
  2. Click on the three horizontal lines on the bottom right corner.
  3. Select Pages.
  4. This screen will show the Pages you have created, or you can go to the Liked tab, which is where you will find all of the Pages you have liked on Facebook.
  5. Select the Page you want to share by tapping on it.

Once you've selected the relevant Page, here's how to share it with friends:

  1. Tap on the arrow icon on the top right corner of the Facebook Page.
2. These are your sharing options. You can send the Page via Facebook Messenger, copy the link to share in another app, or share to text and other applications by using the More Options menu.
  3. To share the Page with your friends on your timeline, you can click on Write Post.
  4. You can caption the post by typing text in the "Say something about this link" area. To share with your friends, tap Post.

Now that you have shared the Facebook Page with your friends, they will be able to share it with their following.

Sharing Is Caring

When your friends or family are starting a new business or charity endeavor, it is a challenging time for them. Even if they don't ask for support—they will appreciate it.

Sharing their Facebook Page with your friends is a simple act to show support and garner attention for their cause.

Facebook encourages users to share text, photos, video and links. If you've found a Facebook page you want others to see, share it on your Facebook wall. Sharing creates a hyperlink to the Facebook page so friends can view the page. When posting, you have the option to include a message about the hyperlink. Once posted on your wall, friends can in turn share the link with their friends by clicking on the "Share" option below your original post.

  1. Log in to your Facebook account.

  2. Type the name of the Facebook page in the "Search" box at the top of your Facebook wall.

  3. Click on the avatar for the correct Facebook page when it appears in the drop-down menu of search results.

  4. Use your mouse to highlight the URL of the Facebook page located in the address bar at the top of your screen.

  5. Right-click your mouse and click on the "Copy" option in the drop-down menu.

  6. Click the Facebook logo on the upper left side of the screen to return to your Facebook wall.

  7. Place your cursor in the "What's on Your Mind?" box located at the top of your Facebook wall, under the news feed heading.

  8. Press "Ctrl" + "V" to paste the Facebook page URL in the status update box. Wait a few seconds for Facebook to create a hyperlink, a short description and avatar for the page.

  9. Leave the URL address in the text box above the hyperlink or delete it by highlighting it with your mouse and pressing the "Delete" button on your keyboard.

  10. Type a message in the text box above the hyperlink to the Facebook page. Explain why you like or dislike the page and why people should check it out.

  11. Click the blue "Post" button on the lower right corner of the status update to send it to your Facebook wall.

Because Facebook is a large social networking site with millions of users, finding someone you want to befriend and communicate with can be a difficult and time-consuming task. If you assign a username to your Facebook profile link, you can direct family and friends to your profile quickly and with ease. When you give someone the link with the username, they can find your profile without using any of the Facebook search tools.

  1. Go to Facebook and log in to your account.

  2. Go to the Facebook Username page, then select from any of the suggested usernames. If you don't like any of them, enter one in the open box, then click "Check Availability." If the username is available, you can use it. If it isn't available, keep trying different usernames until Facebook accepts one of them.

  3. Click the "Check Availability" button when you finally find the username you want to use, then click "Confirm."

  4. Click your name in the upper right corner to display your profile, write down the URL address in the address bar, then give it your friend.
