The word is PAIRS
The condition is
- The first letter cannot be a vowel
I thought that this was independent and tried to solve it the following ways
There are 5 letters so 5 different way to be arranged
I did $$3*5*5*5*5$$
As the first letter cannot be a vowel there is 3 chance that it is not a vowel, and i multiplied it by the chance that the other letter could be arranged. I did it but the answer was not correct, how can I solve this problem?
